| Description of the problem | I was driving along at about 40mph when all of a sudden there was no power going to the wheels. The engine was running but no power was going to the wheels. Luckily, i was on a city street and i was able to coast around a corner. I put the car in park and caught my breath, and then when i put it in gear it ran okay. The next day, the same thing happened again--loss of power--coasting to a stop. I double checked and the car was in fact in drive--but no power to the wheels. I took the car to the dealer and they replaced the hybrid ecm (which they have retained) and the park/neutral safety switch. (which i have). *js |
