Description of the problem	Vehicle retains cruise control speed in memory even after applying brakes and stopping. Goes back to cruise control speed instead of responding to gas pedal and rams into the vehicle in front. Vehicle revs up and down for no reason when in cruise control even when traveling on flat terrain/freeway. Complaints to local toyota dealer did not help until the accident, did an upgrade to the software which has helped but little, problem still remains.
