| Description of the problem | In september 2006 i traded a perfectly performing 4 cyl 2006 camry for a 2007 4 cyl camry because i liked the new design. I still like the new design but have been quite annoyed and concerned about the car's failure to accelerate when needed. From a complete stop or near stop when a quick take-off is needed the initial response is at times zilch/zero/0. I have taken the car back to the dealer who had the computer recalibrated. This lasted for a while, but it did not solve the problem. I have not gone back because i believe the issue is greater than "recalibrating". I believe this is a safety issue that should be addressed by the manufacturer. *jb updated 06/23/08. |
