| Description of the problem | Have brought my 2007 4 cyl toyota camry to dealership 4 separate times due to severe hesitation in acceleration since bought new in april 2006 . The previous time they reflashed the computer as per the technical service bulletin but the hesitation remains unacceptable and dangerous when entering highway or when in need of quick and even acceleration. The past time they suggested i contact toyota usa headquarters which i plan to do immediately. Obviously since there are so many complaints on the nhtsa site there appears to be something basically wrong with the design of the transmission. I will be starting the lemon law of nj process unless toyota can quickly rectify this very unsafe defect. *nm |
