| Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2007 toyota camry. The contact was driving approximately between 40-55 mph on normal road conditions when the accelerator pedal began to stick. There was an application of excessive force to the brake pedal with both feet. The vehicle skidded and loss control and suddenly, the accelerator pedal released. The driver was able to gain control and resume to normal operation. The failure occurred constantly at least three times a week. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on nine separate occasions for the identical failures. There were replacements of the transmission control module (tcm) and transmission. The failures continued which there were no resolutions. The failure mileage was unavailable. |
