Description of the problem	(1) abs module has an intermittent short. When it fails the speedometer stops working, abs and brake light on dash come on, temp gauge and tach fluctuate, and the a/c stops working. The short in module was diagnosed by a toyota dealer. I understand electrical components go bad but for it to effect the speedometer and a/c seems like a poor design. (2) on several occasions my engine oil light has come on. Apparently there are issues with excessive oil consumption in some model toyotas with piston rings flaws. Dealer has done oil consumption tests but unable to reproduce problem.
