| Description of the problem | My 2007 toyota camry ce with the 2. 4l 4 cylinder engine is consuming engine oil at an excessive rate. Vehicle is currently undergoing toyota factory "excessive oil consumption test", and showing low oil on dipstick. On line research has indicated many owners learning either their dealer or toyota, or both are hesitant or refusing to perform corrective action at no cost to the current owner. On line recommendation is that this complaint should be filed with your agency along with two other entities involved in monitoring toyota motor company and toyota dealer response and remedial action. |
