Description of the problem	I purchased this car used a few years ago. It has had a high oil consumption the entire time. It has been extremely aggravating and costly putting oil in the car weekly. As a single parent, i didn't take the car to be fixed because of financial reasons. I'm just finding out about the extended warranty and the time has passed for me to take advantage of the warranty. Toyota knowing about the issue makes it even worse. This should have been a recall instead of an extended warranty. I was considering buying a new toyota until i read this. This makes me distrust toyota because of the underhanded way they're treating their customers about an issue they knew about.
