| Description of the problem | Own a 2007 toyota camry with 69,000 mile which has heavy oil consumption, one quart every 3,000 miles approximately. Toyota says this is normal oil consumption. Filed complaint with toyota usa, complaint number cr21044. They said i was the first complaint concerning this problem. The car has no oil leaks. Toyota knows about the problem because they issued tsb-0094-11 bulletin. Would like for the nhtsa to investigate because in all toyota camry 2007 forums this is a common problem among owners and nothing has been done. At some point in time this is going to cause major damage to the vehicle about a manufacturing defect that toyota is aware of. If they were not aware of problem why did they issue tsb009411? |
