Description of the problem	Approximately toward the end of 2012 and into 2013 we started to notice that the engine oil light was coming on periodically - roughly around the 65 - 70,000 mileage point. We began adding oil, and re-checking the oil and found that the car was consuming oil at a rate of about 1 quart per 2 weeks. I would estimate based on the distance to employment that it comes to about 1 quart per 600-700 miles. A couple times the engine oil dip-stick was almost dry & covered in tar - which i had to rub vigorously to get off after adding oil? Now, we keep close track of the level. We took the car into the dealer on 5/31/13 and the dealer had no answer for the increased oil consumption other than to verify that were no leaks or oil in the cooling system. *tt
