| Description of the problem | There is excessive oil consumption for my car. I have noticed that i have to add 5-7 quarts of oil in between oil changes because about 2000 miles after my oil change my oil light comes on. I check the oil and the stick is bone dry meaning it is very low, almost empty. I have to add a few quarts of oil and then it happens again. I do this until i need to go back to get my oil changed again. This is an issue because i purchased this vehicle based on the reliability and driving my two children around daily it makes me nervous knowing that if i do not stay directly on top of this my engine could blow. |
