Description of the problem	Owned 2007 camry since new, noticed initially that car burned oil and thought it was part of 'break-in' period. As time went by it progressively got worse; now at 176,000 miles it's burning about half quart every1200 miles. There are no leaks and car is not smoking. I've taken it to dealer during service appointments and mentioned it, was told it was 'normal'. I also own a '94 toyota pickup with 249k on it; other than the starter which failed 3 years ago it's pretty much original. No leaks or burning oil and gets better gas mileage than the camry even though they're both 4 cylinders. It all boils down to quality control, once toyota made it to the top a few years ago they've gone downhill since. Taking this car back to dealer for this issue and let's see what they'll say. Never buying new toyota's again.
