| Description of the problem | Oil shooting from rear oil transfer hose at 84,116 even though car was recently serviced. Mechanic said toyota is changing from mesh hose to steel hose and is aware of problem. No service bulletins or recall notices have been sent out. Car was repaired with new hose, oil , filter and engine was steam cleaned. Engine appeared ok but car could have seized on the freeway and caused an accident. |
