| Description of the problem | Moving at 70 mph, battery light started to flicker. Then 2 loud bangs, like rocks hitting windshield, speedometer wildly fluctuating, check vsc sys light on instrument cluster briefly lit. No loss of power or control. Battery lite now off. Continued on 3 minutes later repeat, bam bam, check vsc sys, now with red triangle warning, abs light, security, passenger air bag & skid lines flashed on. No problems on return trip, although i was traveling at around 50 mph. I should add that i had problem with battery in jan 2019. Replaced battery and positive cable. Battery light kept coming on, replaced alternator. Problem with intermittent battery light reoccurred. Mechanic cleaned off positive pole, and problem was solved until today. |
