Description of the problem	My 2007 toyota camry hesitates when you first press on the gas. It has happened as long as 3 seconds. From a stopped position, pulling out on to a hwy. And going left, my car got me out on to the hwy. But then hesitated. I was still pressing on the gas heavily, but my car was not going! I would estimate about 3 seconds. I had an oncoming car traveling toward me and i was stopped in his lane unable to do anything. This hesitation happens frequently. I would say this happens several times everytime i drive my car. Toyota service dept. Says he has had several complaints regarding this issue and this year and make. He knew what i was talking about as soon as i made the call to him regarding the problem. He said that it is a problem with the main computer in the car. I took it in and they had to preform an "ecu update' which he said basically is resetting the computer. Sounds easy, but it took them 2hrs to complete. I am afraid someone is going to be killed due to this "ecu" problem! I could have been!!!
