Description of the problem	Hood open warning light on dashboard and chime activates while driving on surface streets and freeway. I stop to check hood and it is secure. Light and alarm will clear and then a few miles later it will go on again. When car is parked and car alarm is activated, the car alarm will start sounding off in the middle of the night, with nobody near the vehicle. I have read that other owners have had these two conditions also, and believe these two conditions are related. It is an annoyance to my neighbors as well as myself, and if driving on the road this could cause an accident if pulling over to check the hood latch to silence alarm and warning light. This has now happened numerous times in the past two months.
