Description of the problem	The following takes place intermittently at times: speedometer and tachometer fall to zero while traveling at speed, engine vibrates when sitting at idle, instrument cluster lights up with multiple check engine lights/abs lights, etc., a/c cuts out (doesn't produce cold air) and brakes feel compromised. Toyota has been notified about my issue and others, but stands by not addressing this epidemic, the web is plagued with this vehicle type and their owners describing the exact same symptoms (+ countless others who don't have the resources, time or insight to complain), only to learn they will have to cough up $2200 - $3400 (parts/labor) to replace a faulty abs module. This is a safety concern, not having a measure of speed while you're traveling down the road, brakes feeling uneasy - not to mention the possibility of incurring traffic violations. There are issues with this model vehicle floating around the web with as little as 53k miles on it. It is very selfish and irresponsible for toyota to turn their head from this issue... Planned obsolescence on steroids... Anything for a buck until someone gets hurt, or even worse...
