| Description of the problem | The airbag cover on the windshield post was installed with a defective/and or damaged clip. The airbag cover was loose and could have been snagged by a passenger, etc. And come off at any time. The toyota dealer maintained that these covers were just cosmetic and that i could drive without covers and the car would still be completely safe. I did not want to drive it that way so i paid the dealer $ 71. 78 for parts and labor to replace their defective part. I want to know who at toyota would want to drive a car on our freeways with a compromised air bag system in that condition? |
