| Description of the problem | On march 2nd my daughter was involved in an hit in run accident which she was driving a 2007 se toyota camry, car has always been maintained by the toyota dealer. She was hit on the driver side of the car, she had to be airlifted for the head injuries she received do to the side airbags not deploying. Car was taken by the insurance and valued as total lost. So i my self been owner of more than 5 camrys and now am afraid to buy one again do to there poor safety. I think a car that got hit going around 50mph and the car of the impact was traveling 60mph airbags should have open cause is anyone gets hit harder for the airbags to open will end up dead. |
