Description of the problem	Air bag indicator light has been on since at least 9/18/12. Several toyota technicians stated it was the squib cable in the steering wheel that needs replacement - other toyota representatives state that it is not the cable. I know the toyota tacoma (?) truck was recalled for a similar problem and the defect corrected. I cannot get a straight answer from toyota if the air bags will engage in a collision - some technicians say it may or may not. The cost to repair was quoted to be somewhere around $680. 00.
