| Description of the problem | I was pulling slowly into a parking space in front of an office building. When i gently applied the brake, the car suddenly zoomed forward and struck the front of the building, shattering a large glass window and its frame and area around it. This stopped the car. I put it into reverse and backed into the parking space. The air bag did not inflate. Fortunately, the occupant of that office had just left. Otherwise she would have been hit by flying glass. I had never before had trouble of this kind with this toyota. The damage was repaired, but i sold the car to the auto body shop. |
