| Description of the problem | I have noticed my 2006 camry xle has not stopped as quickly as the 1995 v6 camry i previously owned. The instance this has been most dangerous is when i had 3 grandchildren in the back of my car and a passenger in the front. I applied brakes while going about 45 mph behind a flatbed truck. The brakes did not stop the quickly enough, and we almost ran into the back of the vehicle. Also, if i try to stop quickly at a yellow light, the car cannot stop quickly enough. I end up either in the middle of the intersection or running a light to avoid being hit. The car only has 1250 miles. *jb |
