| Description of the problem | 06/07 camry v6 and 07 avalon have a 1 second delay or longer on acceleration. I feel this delay is very dangerous. This occurs at any speed and is dangerous because you press on accelerator farther down than required because of the delay and the car lurches forward after the delay. My dealer says all 5 speed auto transmission cars for toyota have this delay and they cannot fix it. My dealer is not disclosing this to customers but will gladly address this if asked. My dealer has agreed to replace my 06 camry with an 07 because i feel the 80 hp more on the 07 and more air bags are better than the 06. The delay is also on the 07 camry v6. *nm |
