Description of the problem	2004 toyota camry. Consumer states the engine surged and the car lunged forward as he was parking. tgw the consumer stated the vehicle ran over the curb, across the sidewalk and struck and damaged a column on the front of a building. The vehicle sustained damage to the right front resulting in a repair bill in excess of $4,000. On a previous occasion when exiting the freeway and making a right turn, the engine surged between gears but when it engaged, the consumer did not notice a problem.
