Description of the problem | Tl*the contact owns a 2004 toyota camry. The contact stated that while driving 40 mph the vehicle suddenly accelerated without warning which caused the vehicle to accelerate up to 50 mph and crash into a wall. The front passenger side of the vehicle was damaged. No one was injured during the crash. The contact towed the vehicle to a local mechanic and called the manufacturer. The manufacturer informed the contact to take the vehicle to the dealer. The contact could not take the vehicle to the dealer; therefore, it was towed to a body shop and repaired. The repairs have not been completed due to the availability of parts. The failure mileage was unknown. The contact stated that the crash was due to rapid acceleration. |
