| Description of the problem | The horizontal dashboard surface under the windshield is melting. It began about two years ago as a "sticky" problem and has progressively deteriorated. The glare makes it very unsafe in sunny conditions because it interferes with the drivers ability to see the road through the windshield. This makes it hazardous for me to drive this vehicle under present conditions. I have tried everything to remove the stickiness but nothing works. The problem is particularly acute during warm conditions. I believe this is a fundamental defect in the part and should become part of a recall and replacement at the manufacturers expense. |
