| Description of the problem | My car is in beautiful condition except my dashboard is melting. It is sticky and cannot be touched, it has become worse in the last month and when i went to have the car serviced, the toyota service said it needed to be replaced and the cost would be $500+. I have noted that several other owners have the same problem and toyota mfg. Is getting away with a widespread defect that is costly to repair. Something has to be done to protect the consumer as this will have an effect on the trade value, personal sell value and also the electronics within the dashboard. |
