| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2007 toyota solara. The contact was driving approximately 65 mph when the headlights unexpectedly failed. The high beam lights were then engaged in order to illuminate the roadway. Moments later, the similar failure occurred with the high beam lights. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where both high beam bulbs and the head lamp assembly were replaced, at different times. The failure continued to recur intermittently. The vehicle was taken to dealer and they informed the contact that all four headlight bulbs would need to be replaced and possibly, the head lamp assembly. The vehicle was not repaired for the most recent failure. The manufacturer was notified of the defect. The approximate failure was 40,000. |
