Description of the problem	My 2007 toyota solara coupe l4-2. 4l (2az-fe) has the engine oil consumption problem. This was confirmed by my service center and is in regard to the technical service bulletin t-sb-0094-11. The engine loses oil at rapid rate and gasoline gets in the oil, which could cause a fire. This is a serious engine problem which should be a recall. Because toyota lists this problem only as a technical service bulletin, they say they are not required to contact the vehicle owner to make them aware of this problem. The repairs needed require major engine/piston work costing $5,000. They will not pay for this if the vehicle has over 60,000 miles. Because i cannot afford $5,000, and i need the car to get to work, i am stuck with a useless and dangerous vehicle where the engine will seize up and die. Who knows what tragedy this will cause if i am in the vehicle at the time.
