Description of the problem	I was traveling north on rte. 209, passing the green light. When a ford focus traveling south on rte. 209 made a left turn, causing a collision with my car. I impacted his car in rear section around the tire, bending his tire. The air bags in the toyota did not deploy which i believe caused more damage to my back. The other driver was written a citation (vr3322) in the pa violations section. My wife was able to drive car to our house 3-4 miles away. I was transported to pocono medical center. Their exam was a joke. I am going to see an orthopedic doctor on 11/12/2013. The pain has increased a lot since accident. I believe if the air bags had deployed i might have been spared more pain. I am insisting on a cat scan, mri, & xrays on my back to compare to previous tests done in 2009. I feel toyota should be held accountable for defective air bags. If this had been a major crash i do not think my wife and i would be doing very well. This is inexcusable for the air bags to fail. Lives depend on them working!
