| Description of the problem | I have been the one and only owner of a 2006 toyota solara convertible sle that has been garage kept most of its life. Dashboard appears to be "melting" - has numerous cracks and is very sticky. The glare of the shiny sticky dashboard is distracting and a visual hazard. Have tried several products in an attempt to clean/unsticky the dashboard. Dealerships have stated that this is a result of intense daytime heat, and not a manufacturers defect. Several other camry owners have stated the same complaint. |
