| Description of the problem | We bought this 2007 toyota camry hybrid in january 2007. I started noticing the dashboard began to get sticky and shiny. I've never used any harsh chemicals or any chemicals used to clean the dashboard. The rest of the car is well taken care of but as the years went by, the dashboard has just gotten worse. I began doing research and found that others had the same problem. Many have been told it's not part of the warranty. I believe it's a manufacture's defect. Not only is it dirty looking, it also has a shine to it and that has potential to be very dangerous. Especially on a bright sunny day, the shine from the dashboard reflects up to the windshield making it very difficult to see and the same issue arises when driving at night. |
