| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2007 camry hybrid. The contact stated that while driving 60 mph, all of the warning lights illuminated on the instrument panel as the brakes failed. The contact had to coast to the shoulder to stop the vehicle. The contact shut off the vehicle and restarted. Once the vehicle was restarted, the vehicle independently reset. The contact was able to drive the vehicle for an additional week without incident however, the failure recurred. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer for inspection of the brakes where the dealer advised that the braking system was working as designed. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 80,000. The vin was not available. |
