Many cars around as speeds varied between 45 - 70 mph depending on congestion points. Applying brakes to slow down would feel as if they were shuddering and not stop. After finally finishing grapevine portion and driving back to lower flatter elevation, the brakes acted normally. No dash lights indicating any problem. Took car to toyota dealership the morning after trip and describe scary ride. Diagnostics did not find problems. Road tests were normal. Since then, no further instance of brakes shuddering. |
