Description of the problem	My wife and i were driving in our car when all of a sudden the svc warning light came on and our brakes became much less responsive. We stopped the car. Turned it on and off and then the warning light turned off. Over time the svc warning light and brake malfunction became more frequent and then finally became permanent. We were quoted from toyota about $3000 to fix the part. We ended up buying the part offline and having our mechanic install it.
