| Description of the problem | The left front lug nuts do not stay tightened. Each year, over the last 4 years, when changing tires from the summer tires to the winter snow tires, the left front lug nuts do not stay tightened. This first came to my attention when my wife was driving alone, in an isolated area, 200 miles from home, when the left front wheel almost came completely off before it was discovered as being a problem. The car was moving forward at the speed limit on a 2 lane road. This year, since november 15, i have retightened the lug nuts at least 6 times. I have tried lock tight. It does not work very well. |
