Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2010 toyota avalon. The contact stated he was driving with the cruise control set to approximate speeds of 74 mph. He engaged the brakes and the when attempting to reset the cruise control, the vehicle abnormally accelerated to speeds of 95 mph. He was able to deactivate the cruise control and applied the brakes to stop the acceleration. The manufacturer advised the contact to have the dealer inspect the vehicle for the failure.
