Description of the problem | Headlights on my 2008 toyota avalon will suddenly go out while in operation. This will occur in either automatic or manual mode. You will need to turn off the lights then turn them back to the on position to get them to come back on. This can be very dangerous at night on a country road where we live. Local toyota dealership in richmond, kentucky,40475 stated the low beam head lights needed to be replaced at a cost of $343. 00 per headlight bulb plus labor which included taking off the front bumper to install the headlights. Total cost to replace two head light bulbs, approximately $1,000. 00. Vehicle only has 40,000 miles on it. |
