| Description of the problem | I have to apply the parking brake at all time no matter what position the car is in at that time. If not, the car would make a movement to where it acts like it want to jump out of the gear that the car is position in. Even if the car is in position park position if the brake is not applied the car would make a hard movement like it want to keep moving. When the parking brake is applied and the automatic transmission is still in the drive or reverse position and the stationary pto switch is engaged by the operator, the engine may rev and overcome the parking brake's ability to keep the vehicle from moving. Unexpected vehicle movement can increase the risk of a crash or injury. |
