| Description of the problem | Oil gushed from engine, leaving a trail from my house to my neighbor's where he noticed the oil on the highway (enough to remain there for two weeks). This was a bulletin, not a recall via toyota. Needless to say i had never heard of the possibility of losing all of the oil. The service department had my car for approximately 4 days and fixed the problem. If i had been speeding down the interstate, the engine could have locked up at a high rate of speed and caused other problems. I'm uncertain as to which bulletin it was, i just lost all of my oil in a matter of seconds!!!!! |
