| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2005 toyota avalon. The contact stated the horn was inoperable. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the pad was removed and the contact points were replaced. The remedy lasted for approximately one year and the horn failed again. The dealer lubricated the points and the failure recurred. The dealer replaced the sops lock spring assembly yet, the failure recurred. The dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure.
