Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2012 subaru outback. While the vehicle was placed in park on an incline, the contact suddenly heard a scraping noise and noticed that the vehicle independently rolled away. The contact's wife was leaning into the vehicle and was pulled in reverse along with the vehicle. The vehicle crashed into a curb and the front driver's door struck the hedge, which slowed the vehicle down. The vehicle then crashed into a tree hedge. The contact's wife sustained an injury to the right side of her hip that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was towed to an auto shop where all of the panels were repaired; the manufacturer was notified of the failure.
