| Description of the problem | 2011 subaru outback only driven by myself, 93000 miles mostly highway. Stalling regularly when coming to a sudden or fast stop. Slow stopping and pumping brakes would avoid the stall. Rpms would suddenly drop after going below 1200. Out of warranty. Valve body and torque converter replaced. This issue has been noted for many subaru cvt between 2010 and 2012 and should have extended warranty to cover and repairs should be made at no cost to owner due to obvious fault in design. |
