Description of the problem	The outback is shuddering and stalling at intersections and stops frequently. The engine shuts off and the car stops abruptly. The car must be put back in park and turned back on every time it stalls. I have almost been rear ended multiple times because of the abrupt stopping caused by the faulty torque converter.
