Description of the problem | We bought a 2010 subaru outback with manual transmission in july 2010. It has stalled twice (once in september and once in october) while driving about 25 mph with the clutch depressed and making a lefthand turn into oncoming traffic. In both instances of stalling, there was a slight incline in the hill. Since i was turning into oncoming traffic this was a very dangerous situation. The car started up immediately after i pulled to side of road. I am bringing in this car for service this upcoming week. The subaru dealer i just spoke with said that they have had to service multiple cars with this stalling issue for the 2010 model. This issue is extremely dangerous and subaru needs to provide a comprehensive fix before people are hurt or die--perhaps some people have been hurt already? |
