Description of the problemWhen driving my 2006 subaru outback 2. 5i at freeway speeds for 30 or more minutes, the rear shocks lose their dampening ability due to overheating, and cause the vehicle's rear to bounce up and down uncontrolled. Over even the slightest dips in the road, the rearend will compress causing the vehicles suspension to compress and hit bump stops. This has happened on several occasions in the past, and in my opinion, make the outback difficult to control. Subaru has inspected the vehicle, and stated it is per factory specs.
