| Description of the problem | I initially called my local dealer to fix the recall (engine valve malfunction) on january 18, 2019. They soonest available date to schedule the repair was today, may 13, 2019 citing a back order on parts. Almost 5 months later. Attached is the screenshot of the day i made the phone call. They also indicated in the phone call when i made the appointment that the repair would not take long and i would have my car back the next day. Today, they tell me that they will likely have my car for about a month because they are backlogged and the amount of work involved is "more than anyone anticipated." i feel that nearly 6 months cannot be considered a "reasonable amount of time." |
