| Description of the problem | Subaru had a recall on the odc (occupant detection system) nhtsa 15v419000 for cars produced from 4/2011 through 2/2012. My car was produced in mid march 2012 - and experienced the exact same problem as the recalled vehicles. The odc would be deactivated if a passenger was in the car and we had a charger plugged in the power outlet. This is a serious issue. It is being fixed, but it is a $1,200 charge, for what i believe should be part of the recall. Thanks for your time and help. |
