Description of the problem	Upon starting, rpm surged to over 4500, and there was loud grinding noise, sounded as if the engine was destroying itself. Sounded like severe metal to metal slapping with vibration that stopped when key turned off ignition. Subsequent start appeared normal. Vehicle had been sitting for approximately an hour at 30f, date of occurance 11/22/2017, 4930 miles since new. Car was in a parking lot and was stationary. Factory approved dealer service result "no problem found at this time". I feel as if its dependability has been compromised.
