Description of the problem | I have an 'l' shaped crack in my windshield that is approximately 6"x6". The windshield sustained a small chip from a rock strike and before i could get the superficial chip fixed it turned into a very large 'l' shaped crack. The rock strike occurred while i was driving on the highway but the subsequent crack occurred while the car was stationary in my driveway. I was sitting in the car when the window cracked and other than it being a summer day the circumstances leading up to the cracking windshield were normal. The picture provided with this complaint shows the crack. I tried to outline the cracked area with yellow to make it more evident. The other lines in the photo are a reflection of the overhanging powerlines. |
